More Dr. Seuss Activities~

Another activity we did for Dr. Seuss was a writing activity with foam stickers.  Each student picked out if they wanted to do "The Cat in the Hat", "Green Eggs and Ham", or "1 Fish, 2 Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish".  Then they had to write a sentence about the book they chose.  They turned out great and were an alternative to our regular weekly journal writing!

Green Eggs and Ham Writing Activity~

After we tried our very own green eggs and ham we wrote about where we would like to eat them and who we would like to eat them with.  Each student had to pick 2 rhyming words that they wanted to use in their writing.

 

Green Eggs and Ham~

On Friday, March 1st we made our very own Green Eggs and Ham.  The students were very nervous to eat them because they weren't sure what they actually were.  I showed them the ingredients and told them the only thing different about them was that we added green food coloring!  Almost everyone liked them! :)

 

 

Some students just had ham!
